I am Ron Snyder, a retired orthodontist who was blessed to graduate from the Catholic Studies masters of arts program at the University of St Thomas in St Paul, MN in 2013. Upon graduation I sought to continue regular meetings with the wonderful students that I met through the masters program. Having all been trained in the life and thought of St John Henry Newman "Newman on Tap" was born. I am presently president of The St. John Henry Newman Association of America.

Each Wednesday evening at 6:30pm CT my Zoom screen fills with religious, academics and non-academic lovers of St. John Henry Newman. We read together sermons and other works of the 19th century British convert to Catholicism who became a cardinal and was a master of Scripture, devotion, theology, philosophy and prose. On October 13, 2019 he was canonized by Pope Francis.
